Pastor Monique Williams

Pastor Monique Williams is an internationally acclaimed Gospel artist that has
been ministering for over four decades. Monique is the daughter of Bishop Carl E.
Williams Jr. and Ms. Sandra A. Williams. She was raised in her grandfather’s
church, the legendary “Institutional C.O.G.I.C." in Brooklyn, New York.
Institutional was known for initiating the careers of relevant gospel legends and
was a place where many gathered to hear a word from Bishop Carl E. Williams Sr.
every Sunday night. It is because of this incredible influence and lineage that
Monique chose to follow Christ.

At an early age, Monique performed and toured with Broadway’s “Gospel At
Colonus,” which starred Morgan Freeman, and “Don’t Get God Started,”
starring the Winans and Kim and Chip Fields. Pastor Williams gained
international recognition while singing with the Grammy Award-winning
“Hezekiah Walker & The Love Fellowship Crusade Choir. She used her
exemplary vocals and amazing range on such songs as “Let the Glory,” “Thank
You,” “He’s on Your Side,” “Try Christ,” and “Second Chance.” After decades of
singing with the choir, Monique completed her first solo endeavor in 2008 entitled
My Genesis.” She has encouraged thousands and continues to touch millions
throughout her ministry and career.

Monique was greatly influenced and guided by her grandmother, Shepherd Mother
Elvonia Williams, to pray diligently and walk in the ways of The Lord. In 1982, she
accepted her call to preach the word of God. After years of evangelizing,
Evangelist Williams was ordained Elder in The Lord’s Church and is presently the
Senior Pastor of “Four Winds International.” She attended several Bible schools
before graduating Summa Cum Laude from San Diego Christian College with a
B.A. in Christian Ministries and an M.S. in Leadership. Pastor Monique is
elevating her education by studying to gain her EdD.
Pastor Monique is the proud mother of two daughters, Ky’Asia Walker, and
Taniqua Lyons.
